About

HELLO!

My name is Chigoziem. I am a researcher, an educator and I hold a doctorate degree (Ph.D) in Mathematics from the university of Pretoria.

When I was 11, I lost my entire family in a car accident. However, I am living an optimistic life and I have gone on to earn a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree and a Ph.D all in Mathematics.

I have been featured on several platforms including Flourish Africa, Kaya FM and The Guardian. I am also a recipient of the “Most Inspiring Nigerian Personality in South Africa 2018” award at the Nigerian Community Excellence Awards South Africa (NICEASA).

I started this blog to document and share my experiences, thoughts and learning process with readers far and wide. Especially those going through a trauma, those who have been through their share of trauma (recovering and recovered) and those who might know someone in need of help through and overcoming one. From my own experience, I know that life doesn’t end when it feels like all is lost. Regardless of our experiences, we can go on to live positive fulfilling lives.

When I’m not doing anything Maths related, I enjoy helping others, cooking, baking and watching movies and TV shows. Recently, I’m beginning to find reading very relaxing.

Please don’t hesitate to comment and share this part of the internet with your family, friends and network.

If you like to reach me personally, I would love to hear from you via email: chigoziemeblog@gmail.com

Thank you for stopping by.

XOXO
